In order to understand how the life cycle of a wildlife species impacts management decisions, your task this week is to find a graphic depicting the life cycle of a wildlife species of interest. You may decide to select the species covered in your wildlife management plan, but this is not required. Present the life cycle graphic to the reader and identify how you would best manage this species. Are you trying to increase abundance or decrease abundance? Do you need to improve habitat or resource availability or relieve competition? How do these management decisions fit into the life cycle of the species? Will you set harvesting limits, and if so, what should you consider in doing so?
