Our final paper is a culmination of what you have developed so far. Please review the original prompt for the question your thesis is addressing. Please revise your paper according to the comments I gave your.
Your paper should include an introduction with a thesis and a roadmap (see paper comments), at least four sections, and a conclusion.
The four (and an optional fifth) sections involve:
The Gospel of Mark
The Gospel of Matthew
The Gospel of Luke
The Gospel of John
The Gospel of Thomas (optional)
The conclusion should ask a “so what?” question, that is, you should sum up your thesis and ask what it means for you today. Our reading of Taking Up the Cross should give you some thoughts about answering this question. Because this is a longer paper, your conclusion should be a section in and of itself. It should not be a quick final paragraph, in other words.
Be sure that your sections have headings. Be sure that your sections link back to your thesis and the questions you are addressing. Be sure your sections are previewed in a roadmap in your introduction.
Each section should be about two to three paragraphs.
If you have any questions, please email me.
There is not a page requirement. As long as you meet the structural expectations above, you will do well.
