I would like you to use this discussion forum to consider possible topics for your research paper. You do not need to decide on a final topic yet – that will be in the next unit. Read the chapters in Muth, then answer the following questions:

What media-related topics that we have discussed so far in class(News, Fake News, Media Bias, Social Media,..) interest you? If you have read ahead in texts, are there other topics that pique your interest? Name at least three potential topics.
Choose one of the three topics above and explain how you might develop it for a research paper.
Finally, list some research strategies that have worked well for you in the past. Are there any ideas in Muth that you would like to try?

Please complete the work on time. Then responses to at least two of your classmates(I’ll update this when it’s available). Be sure that your responses are substantive. What are your classmates missing? What are they overlooking? What suggestions can you make to help them?
