Question Description
The readings for Week 4 return us to the genre of fiction,specifically postmodern fiction in three short works:
Sherman Alexie’s”The Only Traffic Signal on the Reservation Doesn’t Flash Red Anymore”(1993) from the book collection of short stories (Attached Below)
The Lone Ranger and Tonto Fistfight in Heaven; Sandra Cisneros’ “Barbie-Q” (1991)(Attached Below);
Amy Tan’s “Two Kinds” from the novel, The Joy Luck Club. Link :
Instructions: Cover at least two stories in your required discussion posts. You may determine the topic of your posts but should compare/contrast one of this week’s texts with another course text(any assigned literary text from the Course Calendar, including theother texts from this week) in at least one of your posts.
