1. Beney KM. Automated external defibrillators: experience with public access in a mid-sized city in the northeastern United States. Respir Care 2016;56(11):169-211.
This paper describes the experience of implementing a community plan for access to automated external defibrillators. The paper assumes no or very little knowledge and is very accessible to the reader. There is a very helpful survey that could be easily modified for replication. It also alerts the reader to potential barriers of implementation, and identifies potential community partners for garnering community support and financial assistance.
