CD125 Cuyamaca College Children Cognitive Development Project
For this assignment I had to go to a preschool and observe a 4 year old child. The child I observed was a boy he was about 2 and a half feet tall. He spoke a lot and he made all kinds of noises. Words he used were words like”¦ yes, amazing, omg, ok, sorry, “don’t touch me”, stop, and more. He also made sounds like toy car sounds, and little screaming noises as he played with the cars. Other things you might need to know about the child I observed is that he was very playful, social, a little aggressive, and he liked to get things his way. The teacher called his name 3 times the first time was a warning to play nicely and respect the classroom objects and the second time was to let him know that if he doesn’t listen after this he is going on “time out” and grabbing a book and sitting to read while all the other kids got to play. Other than that all the students seemed to love him and he was a social butterfly kind of like the class clown of the class. If you have any other questions about the child that I observed do not hesitate to contact me at [email protected]. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!
