EDDL625 Concordia University College and Career Readiness plan Paper
Final Project
For the final project in this course, you will analyze the current college-readiness practices of your local school and develop a comprehensive plan for a college-readiness program for the school to implement.
For this project, you will be expected to:
Synthesize the course material into an action plan for a school
Apply the concepts of college readiness to the development of a program in a school
Analyze the current research and theoretical foundations of college readiness
Evaluate the feasibility of the college-readiness plan’s implementation
Your college-readiness program plan should have the following sections:
Introduction
School Overview (can be taken from Week 4 assignment)
Current School Culture (can be taken from Week 6 assignment)
Review of Current College-Readiness Practices (can be taken from Week 5 assignment)
College-Readiness Plan: This section should utilize an organizing framework such as Conley’s (2010) Four Keys to College and Career Readiness, seven principles, or McDonough’s (2006) nine principles. Indicate the current state of the key or principle, the actions needed to address it and potential strategies to achieve the action steps. This section may be completed in table format as long as APA style is used.
