For this assignment, you’re going to investigate a relationship theory and then tell us about it.
Step 1: Choose a theory to investigate
Choose one of the relationship theories (or models) below to focus on in your report. Some are discussed in your textbook and some are not.

Step 2: Create your report
Your report could be in the form of a(n):
Infographie (1-2 pages)
Poster
Paper (3-5 pages)
Slideshow (7-10 slides)
Video or audio recording (4-6 minutes)
You can use any tool to create your report For ideas, see how to create infographies, presentations, and posters. Whatever format you choose, your report should include:
Brief description of the theory
History of the theory (e.g. who developed it and when)
Criticisms of the theory
Implications for practice (e.g. how might the theory be important for policy or subsequent research, how might it impact treatment or prevention efforts, etc.). For example, you could say an implication of Ecological Systems Theory is that it’s important to consider a broad set of factors that may be influencing behavior.
Your opinion of the theory (e.g. based on your experience, does this theory seem reasonable?)
2-3 reputable references, cited in APA format. This can either be included on your report (e.g. on a references slide) or in your forum post.
