here are four Tasks
In this assessment, you will be completing a comprehensive research project examining the notion of beauty and the celebration of life in one culture. You may choose any culture that you wish! (Choose any culture of your choice, it doesn’t matter)
Task 1: Mind map
Use the document my mind map(attached), to complete this Task. Begin with the name of the culture in the centre segment. Provide four branches off of the main segment. They are the topics from this unit song and dance, visual art, ritual, and beauty. Do some research to determine the key features of each subtopic.
You need to have a minimum of three sub-branches per subtopic.
Task 2: APA bibliography
Complete a properly set up APA bibliography with a minimum of five sources.
Task 3: Museum display
You now get to choose how you would like to share what you have learned about beauty in your chosen culture. Let your creativity flow!
Your audience is your age (18), and you will create an experience similar to that of visiting a museum so they can learn about the culture you have chosen. Your job is to impress them!
Create a digital museum display about what you have learned. Use PowerPoint or another slideshow tool to create a short presentation with pictures and short, informative write-ups. Make sure your slideshow is composed of 510 slides.
The minimum criteria for an acceptable assignment are:
You must include a map to illustrate where the culture you have chosen to explore is located on the globe.
Each slide must have a minimum of three sentences to describe the importance of the image you have chosen.
You must provide a reference for each image that you use. Put this reference below the image. These image credits do not count toward the required five sources in your bibliography.
Task 4: Written work
You will produce a written summary of a minimum of 250 words to introduce your audience to the key components of your museum display.
Think of it as the introduction to an essay grab the attention of your audience, perhaps use a thought-provoking quote, and outline the main topics of your presentation without “giving away” too much of the content.
Be sure to use proper paragraph structure, including opening and concluding statements, and transition words to weave your writing together.
