For this Discussion, think back to an incident in which communication was poor or below expectations in an agency with which you are familiar. Imagine a new agency CEO has arrived and is seeking ways to improve communication.
ASSIGNMENT: an explanation of how communication failed in your scenario.
Explain how to improve department-wide communication to personnel and other stakeholders.
Then, recommend specific steps to leadership to prevent similar situations.
Finally, compare your recommendations to best practices in the field.
