ITS3105 Compensation for Hard Work Paper
Compensation for Hard Work
Part I
Having completed this course, you know that working programs require a lot of time to write and test. Professional programs require even more hours of work. In the workplace, programs frequently must be completed by strict deadlines; for example, a tax-calculating program must be completed by year’s end, or an advertising website must be completed by the launch of the product. Programmers often find themselves working into the evenings or on weekends to complete “rush” projects. How do you feel about having to do this? What types of compensation would make the hours worthwhile for you?By the due date assigned, respond to the both discussion prompts using the lessons and vocabulary found in the reading. Support your answer with examples and research. Your responses should clarify your understanding of the topic. They should be your own, original, and free from plagiarism. Follow APA guidelines for writing style, spelling and grammar, and citation of sources.Start reviewing and responding to the postings of your classmates as early in the week as possible. Respond to at least two of your classmates per question. Participate in the discussion by analyzing each response for completeness and accuracy and by suggesting specific additions or clarifications for improving the discussion question response.
