task 1: How would you summarize Audre Lorde’s piece? Think about the qualities of a good summary.
task 2:
We have read two articles: Nick Walker’s “Throw Away the Master’s Tools” and Audre Lorde’s “The Master’s Tools Will Never Dismantle the Master’s House.” The two pieces are connected not simply in themes, but in the fact that Nick Walker addresses and references Audre Lorde. How is tracing back from Walker to Lorde connected to a research process and the Burkean metaphor? (In other words, why didn’t I just pick another piece on Autism or a more related article after Walker?) Why is it important that we read Walker and Lorde together? (two article will be posted )
