What is the Story?
There are three images that I would like for you to look at carefully. Now, write a 250- to 300-word single-spaced short story for each iconic image. Each story should have its own title that is not a part of the word count, and all three stories should be apart of a single word document which you will upload once you are finished. As you write your narratives, you will need to be mindful of the voice or point-of-view from which the character tells the story. You neednt do any research. Just tell your audience each story.
For the first story write from the first-person singular voice. This means you should write from the voice of the person in the image.
For example:
Sitting here I . . .
For the second story write from the voice of the tree. Let the tree tell the story.
For the final image, let the white student with the grimace on her face, and what looks like a newspaper rolled up in her hand, tell the audience the story.
Please complete this assignment by 11:59 p.m. November 4.
